Manicotti

Manicotti

Large Shell noodles
1 (15 oz) container Ricotta cheese
1 1/2 cups mozz
3/4 cup parmesan
1 egg
2 tsp parsley
1/2 tsp pepper
1/8 tsp garlic powder
1 jar marinara sauce

Cook pasta shells, drain and cool. In a large bowl combine the rest of the ingredients except the sauce and noodles. Pour a little of the sauce on the bottom of a 9x13 pan. Stuff the cooked shells with the cheesy mixture. Top with the rest of the sauce. Bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes. (I use the large shells because they are easier to stuff than the manicotti shells, and I think in all reality, a noodle is a noodle, just a different shape!)

Step by step pictures....
These large shells are easier than the "manicotti" shells since they open down the middle.  At least I think so. :)
Insert a small serving of the cheesy mixture.

After it is filled with cheese.

Line the pan squeeze in a third row to fill it up.
