2 Cheese Linguine
Tonight we tried Two Cheese Linguine. The cheese sauce was so thick, but it was good. Gotta love cheese. :)
1 pkg 16 oz of Linguine noodles
4 Tbsp butter
6 Tbsp flour
1/2 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
3 cups milk
1 1/2 mozz cheese
1/2 cup shredded parmesan
(4Tbsp lemon juice)
I just realized I forgot to put the lemon juice in it! Bummer. that might change the status of the rating. TJ gave this a 7 out of 10 without the lemon juice. I wonder what it could have been? Hmmmmm....
Cook linguine. In a skillet over low heat, melt butter. Stir in flour, salt and pepper until smooth. Gradually stir in milk. Bring to a boil, and boil for 2 minutes or until thickened. Remove from heat. Combine cheeses, toss with lemon juice. Add to the sauce; stir until cheese beings to melt. Drain linguine; add the cheese sauce and toss to coat.
