Kite Project

Make your own paper kite.
Monkey made a kite at our homeschool meeting.  Then he decided he wanted to make some more.  They thought these were the best.  You could make them too.  Totally easy!

Cut a piece of paper into a diamond.  Line the back with 2 pipe cleaners and tape them on in the cross pattern.  To give the paper stability.  Tie a string however long you want, and tie the other end of the string to a clothes pin or popsicle stick.  Something to hold on to.  As long as it's a windy day out, they think it's great!   Even if it's not that windy, they still think it's pretty cool.  They just have to run around to get it to "Fly".
And best of all, they get to make and color it how they want.  So even better.

Look mom, it's flying! :)

Running with it to make it fly!
