If you know that much about me, you know that I have hydrophobia.
(I am afraid of water as in...lakes, boats, bridges)
I prefer the shallow end of a pool.
Water where you can see the bottom and know what's in it.
But, even as much as I dislike things, I am still willing to try things out.
I've gone on a boat before, but I'm always too panicky or too paranoid to enjoy it.
This was the first time since we've had kids that I've been on a boat. And I will admit my heart was racing, and I was a little panicked. But, seeing my kids have fun helped me relax a little.
Weird I know.
I was a little overly concerned for them falling over but I again, relaxed more and more as we were out there, and after being out there for a little while I was even brave enough to try the tube. I mean my 3 year old did it so, I could too right?!
I was holding on so tight my hands hurt. But I really did have fun out there.
And later that afternoon I was ready to go on the boat again.
I loved seeing the boys have so much fun in the boat and on the tube.
I may not have liked it as much if I have tipped over and had to go in the lake water completely. But since that didn't happen, I had fun.
I think I'm ready to go for another boat ride..........

Good for you Stephanie. I know that your fear of the water is a REAL fear. I am glad to hear that you enjoyed yourself on the boat, and out on the water. By the pictures it looked like fun. I would have liked to do it!!
I liked the picture of you and Shane and your friend out on the tube. That was a good picture.
Love you!!
