Recycled Notepads

Do you have a bunch of school papers laying around, and you don't know what to do with them?

Well, I have an idea to share with you.  This is something a friend of mine does regularly.

You can take those papers, turn them over, because the back is usually blank, and use the blank side as a notepad.

To make a notepad, you bring your paper stack to Officemax.  They will cut it to whatever size you want....a good size would be 4 notepads from an inch thick stack of papers.  Then they glue one edge together with a specific type of glue, and let it dry.  Wha-la.  A little while later you are now the owner or a recycled notepad.  And for fun you get to see your child's school work on the back while you are doodling or writing a very important note to yourself! :)

My friend usually has lots of these and gives extras to me sometimes. This one is from her. :)

You can see the one glued edge in this picture.
