I hope you are doing the same as I, today.
That would be gathering together with family and friends, and remembering all the things we are thankful for, because we serve an awesome God, and live in a blessed country.
Maybe some of you don't see it that way?!
That is fine, but I will still choose to be grateful for many things.
Here's a few....
My awesome, incredible, all-knowing, unconditionally loving God!
My wonderful husband! and his great job,
My sweet (even though sometimes naughty) children. :)
my family,
my friends,
a free country where we can (still) serve our Lord and Savior,
my house, clothes, bed, vehicle, heat, etc, etc....
There are many, many things I could continue to add to the list, but as you can see I said I'd list a FEW and I already exceeded that limit of 3. :) lol
I hope you remember to give thanks more than just one day out of the year.
Psalm 100
A psalm. For giving grateful praise.
1 Shout for joy to the LORD, all the earth.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
2 Worship the LORD with gladness;
come before him with joyful songs.
3 Know that the LORD is God.
It is he who made us, and we are his
we are his people, the sheep of his pasture.
4 Enter his gates with thanksgiving
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
and his courts with praise;
give thanks to him and praise his name.
5 For the LORD is good and his love endures forever;
his faithfulness continues through all generations.
1 Chronicles 16:34
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Give thanks to the LORD, for he is good; his love endures forever.
What are you remembering to give thanks for today?!
