I've been wanting to find a homemade brownie recipe, and tonight....Mission Complete!
I was a little afraid that this was going to taste cakeish...but it doesn't. So we have a winner!
Homemade Brownies
1/2 cup cocoa
1 cup butter
4 eggs, well beaten
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup white sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup chocolate chips
I added the chocolate chips....wasn't in the original recipe, but I thought it sounded good.
Beat cocoa and melted butter. Add eggs, sugars and vanilla. Sift and blend flour and baking powder. Add to mixture. Bake 40 minutes at 350 in a 9x13 pan.
