Lapbook- A Snowy Day

The resources for this were found at Homeschool Share.

(on the top right) What is white flip book.  Cut and paste in the pictures.  I added one more sheet for us to name things we could see around us that are white.  Like paper, the frig, a crayon, paper towels, stripes on the flag, glue, etc.

(on the bottom right)
I wrote down 2 verses from the Bible that talk about being white as snow.
Psalm 51:7- Purge me with hyssop and I shall be clean.  Wash me and I shall be white as snow.

Isaiah 1:18- Come now, let us reason together says the Lord: though your sins are like scarlet they shall be as white as snow.  Though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool.

 S is for Snow....circle the letter S.

White fields file...has a poem and word cards to trace the word and help learn the sight words and a little poem about playing in the snow.

There are sequence cards that you have to put in the order of how the story goes.

There are some snowflakes that we colored and hooked them together to fold accordian style, and made a "snowflake train".  That's what they decided to call it. :)

Then we cut out our own snowflakes and hung them over the island in the kitchen.
