Brown Sugar Chicken

Brown Sugar Chicken

(the chicken was so tender it was just falling apart as I was putting it on the plate.)

4-6 chicken breasts
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp black pepper
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp soy sauce
2/3 cup white wine vinegar
1/2 cup lemon-lime soda

Place chicken in the crockpot. In a bowl mix brown sugar, black pepper, chopped garlic, and soy sauce, then pour over the chicken. Add the vinegar, and pour in the soda. It may bubble. Cover and cook on low 6-9 hrs or high 4-5 hrs. Serve over rice with some extra broth.

I decided I need more crockpot meals so I can make them Saturday night and just turn it on so lunch is ready Sunday after we get home from church.  So I'm going to be trying some new crockpot meals the next month or so.  Not every day....but every so often.
