Is it me? Or does it smell like updog in here?

Hey Howdy Hey Everyone!
Did you have a good day? I did! And to top it off when I got home from work TJ had bought pizza from Papa Murphy's. Yeah! I don't have to cook anything. What a great way to add to the great day!
I got a new book last Thursday night. It's really good. I'm almost done with it already. I think I only have about 15 pages left. And then there is a little snip-it of the next book to come. :) Any of the ladies out there who like good Christian fiction need to read this series! It's by Karen Kingsbury.
Like TJ said, we got a new game, The settlers of Catan. It's definitely our favorite game right now. We've already taught a couple friends how to play. Sounds like we are going to bring it with us camping this weekend to teach a few more people! How fun!
TJ just saw his favorite commercial. It's for Honey Nut Cheerios. The baseball one. He likes to cheer with the fans that shout, "Great Taste, Lower Cholesterol, Great Taste, Lower Cholesterol" He stands up and pumps his fist with them. Then rewinds it and does it again. It's pretty funny. Rewind on the TV is a pretty cool feature to have. I'm not sure I would ever want to get rid of it.
Well, tha-tha-tha-tha-tha-that's all folks.
See you next time!
Stephanie

Settlers of Catan is Awesome. I was thinking of buying it to take to Africa. You know how missionaries and homeschoolers always have that one board or card game they play non-stop, so then when they're around real people and play with them they just totally dominate everyone and the game becomes no fun? Kind of like those kids who play Super Mario Bros or whatnot and then kill all they're friends at it, so no one wants to play with them?

Well, I was thinking if we brought Settlers to Africa, that could be our missionary game to dominate everyone. You'll have to try the expansion packs as well. There's Seafarers, which is good, because there are several small islands and the game moves faster and you don't get blocked in as easy. There's also Cities and Knights, which gets extremely complicated and involved. In that version they have the Barbaric Horde and you have to protect the Island, on top of building things. Plus, no more progress cards, instead they have commodities. Very strange. Invented by a homeschooler for sure.

We got the original game and the 5-6 player expansion pack on Ebay. We use the expansion pack even with 3 or 4 people. My brother-in-law has the Seafares pack.

What is the deal here? We need an update. I know you're not missionaries, so you actually have things going on in your life, but no posts for three days? This is what I look forward to in the mornings.

Has TJ broken some glass, or worse, some household dishes, and now he's too ashamed to post? What is Bob's record up to now? Has he broken the formidable 4 minute barrier?

How about an update on the gang related activity in Owatonna? Any progress on the basement swimming pool? These are questions that need answers.

I knew it would be trouble once you got Settlers of Catan. You're probably wasting away your valuable blogging time playing Settlers.
