Rendezvous

We didn't do anything yesterday. We pretty much just sat around all day. Stephanie is still sick so she didn't go to church this morning either. I went out once yesterday to do a couple things. One of my stops was at Wal-Mart to get a couple things. I was kind of in a hurry cause I was picking up lunch for Stephanie too, so I wanted to get back. On my way out the door I pushed the unlock button and opened the door to the Rendezvous. But it wasn't the right one. It just happened to be unlocked. Thankfully, I noticed right away cause the seats were different. I just shut the door and kept walking. I'm not sure why I did it. It wasn't even close to ours and it was a little different color. Plus, there was a sticker on the driver-side window that we don't have. I noticed all of this before I opened the door too. I was just in a hurry, I guess. It's a good thing there was nobody in it.

That's what I'm afraid I'm going to do with our car. There must be a dozen silver Impala's in the Wal-mart parking lot when I'm there.

Tell Stephanie to get better right now! ;-)

Are you the only one that reads this?

Must be. Maybe it'll take time for everyone else to get back into reading your blog daily since you went so long without putting anything out here.

i read it too. That's pretty funny. Do you need to put a chicken on your antenna like the Vances did for Jeanne?

I read your blogs too. I must say that this was a pretty funny story. It would have been better if someone... like maybe an old man or something had been in the car. Did you act like nothing happened when you walked away? Kind of like rolling off a door when you try to out one that is locked.

I used to have a chicken on my old car. Maybe I should get another one. Yeah, I kinda just walked away. As soon as I opened it I said, "That's not my vehicle", closed the door, and walked to the right one.
