French Dip Sandwiches

French Dip Sandwiches

1 beef roast (3-4 lbs.)
2 pkgs Lipton Onion Soup Mix
4 Cups hot water
2 beef bullion cubes
8 rolls
Provolone slices

Place your roast in the crockpot.  Sprinkle the onion soup mix over top.
Let your bullion cubes dissolve in the hot water and then pour over the roast.
Put the lid on the crockpot and cook for 6-8 hours.  Take out the roast, and shred it with a fork and return to juice for the last hour of cooking time.
Spread a little bit of butter on your rolls and toast them on a griddle.  Add the meat and cheese to the bun.  Pour some hot juices from the crockpot into a small bowl for dipping your sandwich.
