Put different paint colors on paper plates. Dip in the apple and paint. We used a fork stuck in the apple to help lift the apple off the paper to not smear it as much.

*Helpful tip....make sure you cut the apple very straight. If the cut is crooked the print from the apple paint is not going to show up as well.
