Star Spangled Banner
It's that time of year again. Super Bowl time. And for me, that means hearing The Star Spangled Banner. I've always thought the Super Bowl has had the best versions of it, except for the last few years. My favorite was when the Dixie Chicks sang it. I'm not really a Dixie Chicks fan, but it was very good. I've never been a halftime show fan. The best one I saw was many years ago when Michael Jackson did it. Yeah, Michael Jackson. It was before he got really weird. He shot up out of the stage and it looked like there was a bunch of him cause there were mirrors everywhere. It was cool. This year the Star Spangled Banner should be good. Jennifer Hudson is singing it. She's good. Speaking of a good version of the Star Spangled Banner check out this video of these girls singing it.

With all the changes in the Gaither Vocal Band, it seems like old Bill should have taken the opportunity to replace himself. I'm not sure why I'm concerned about it. Legally you have to be 85 years old to even watch a Gaither video. I've heard that Bill doesn't even watch them because he isn't old enough yet. I'm gonna start recording "Kenny sings bass" very soon. Get out your pocketbooks old ladies, Kenny clause is coming to town.
