Cursive may not be as common place anymore as far as children writing in cursive. However, there are still lots of signs, books, pictures, magazines, etc. that have cursive in them. So whether we master the writing ourselves, we should be able to decipher what letters they are for the sake of reading.
Correct?
Thus, we begin our cursive....for real this time.
Monkey wanted to start last year....we did a few letters, but it wasn't necessary to start in 2nd grade so I let him fall off the radar after awhile with it. This year, no such luck.
