Mac

So Stephanie and I have hopped on the Mac train. We got a MacBook laptop computer. We love it. It's very easy to use. Our other laptop crashed a couple weeks ago. Of course all our stuff is on their like pictures, and Quicken stuff and all my music. So now I'm in the process of loading all my music on our new computer. 

We got some stuff this evening for camp. Looking forward to a vacation!

Family Camp

So for the first time in 8 or 9 years I'm going to Family Camp. I grew up going to Family Camp II every year. It's great to be going back. We are staying in the Family Youth Dorms. They have air conditioning so I'm happy. My favorite part used to be swinging on the swings. They aren't your normal swings that wrap around your butt, they are long planks of wood. It's nice. I'm ready for some carpetball too. I'm the carpetball king. At least I was at Senior High Camp one year. It's been awhile.

It's 90 degrees out. It's finally summer. Now I'm ready to go to the pool. What a great time to start working in an air conditioned building.

No Work Tonight!!

Wow. This is so exciting. I don't have to work on a Sunday night. I got to go to church and we went to Arby's afterwards. Fun times. Right now I'm listening to Homecoming Radio on the radio. Woohoo! Yeah for a day job.

The Blog is Back!!

All right. Because of popular demand of 4 people I'm bringing the blog back. Woohoo! I am typing this blog on our brand new computer. We got a MacBook. It's great. Our other computer crashed on Thursday. We said once that computer crashed we were going to get a Mac. We love it so far. 

The new job is great. It's soooo much better than Viracon. M-F days. I'm living a normal life. Everyone at Sage is nice. We get along great. On Friday we got to have a long lunch and they fed us hamburgers and brats and stuff. When I started I had to sign a confidentiality statement and I had to disclose any patents I had. Which were many of course. It's pretty secretive how they do the glass. I don't really know how they do it yet so I couldn't tell you anyway. Well, I think we are going to go out and enjoy the weather.

Does anyone even read this anymore?

So it's been awhile since I've checked in. I'm just looking online at all the flooding going around. I see they're closing all the downtown Des Moines bridges except for I235. Wow that water is high. And then I'm looking at flooding in Wisconsin. Particularly at the Dells. It's hard to believe 1 year ago this week we were in the Dells. Now Lake Delton, the lake in the Wisconsin Dells has nearly emptied out into the river. Weird. This is part of the Wilderness Resort. It's called Wilderness on the Lake. We didn't stay at this part of the Wilderness Resort. But you can see, the lake is gone.
Crazy. Tonight is my last night at Viracon. Woohoo!

Right now I'm babysitting. They are having a garage sale at Stephanie's sister's house. So I'm watching some of the kids.

This upcoming week is my last week at Viracon. Woohoo! One more Saturday to work too.

New Job/One Year!

I'm sure you've all heard by now that I got a new job. I start on Monday, June 16th. I'm excited. I'm ready to leave Viracon. Viracon just started a new rule that you can't have any food or drink on the floor except water or Gatorade when it's hot. Are we in 1st grade? Oh yeah, I broke a piece of glass at work last night. Well kinda. I was picking up a rack with a forklift and moving it back. There was a frame on wheels in front of it. Somehow it was attached to the rack when I was moving it. I didn't see it moving cause I was looking behind me. When I turned, frame kept going and ran into something and broke 1 piece of glass. I didn't say anything to anyone. I'm such a rebel. The company I will be working for is Sage Glass in Faribault. I think it's going to be a very good company to work for. They have air conditioning too! Yesterday marked the one year anniversary of this blog. Wow! It seems like just yesterday I started this blog. And now you all know such more more about the most exciting world of TJ and Stephanie Wright. To celebrate being on top of the world with this blog here's a video for you all.
