Poor Man's Candy

 Poor Man's Candy

1 column saltine crackers
2 sticks butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 pkg chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 400.  Line a 10x15 jelly roll pan with foil.  Place single layer of crackers on foil.  Boil butter and sugar for 3 minutes. Pour mixture over crackers.  Bake at 400 for 7 minutes. (Watching carefully)  Remove from oven.  Spread chocolate chips over top of baked crackers with back of a spoon.  Don't let cool at all before spreading the chocolate chips.   Can top with sprinkles, or other chopped up candies or decorate with dazzling white chocolate swirls!
