Rochester

Stephanie and I just got back from Rochester. We had a little date night. We went to Macaroni Grill to eat. I had Shrimp Scampi. Very good! Stephanie wanted to go to Hobby Lobby and Michael's for some scrapbooking stuff and I wanted to go to the Christian bookstore. We'll we went to the bookstore and there was a sign on the door saying they closed at 6pm for inventory. It was 6:20. Come on. The last time I was at that bookstore was I don't know when. And the one time we go they're closed for inventory. That's all right. We had fun anyway. I think I'll eat my leftovers now.

brrrr

It's -2 degrees right now. It's pretty nasty out. It's snowing a little bit and the wind is blowing really hard. Pretty much all the schools around here closed early. The interstate between Owatonna and Albert Lea is closed.

I'm curious as to who all reads this blog. If you read it, leave a comment on this post. If your not registered to leave a comment, it's easy to sign up. Click on comments at the end of the post. hello

Good Monday to everyone. Right now it's beautiful outside. It's in the 40's. But it's not going to last cause tomorrow is supposed to be 14 degrees and Wednesday is supposed to be 8. Brrr. Right now I'm listening to a radio auction. Yeehaw! Nothing good yet.

I had a dream last night. I don't know where we were or what we were doing but Chuck Norris was there. And he was walking with a cane. Stephanie and I tried to get our picture with him but we couldn't get our camera in time.

still here

Good news everyone. Stephanie decided she didn't need the computer so I'm still here. Though I really don't have anything to say. I'm going in to work this afternoon to get some overtime in.

Have a good day,

quick note

Stephanie is going to a meeting in the cities for work on Friday morning. After that she'll be going up to her aunt's house in Mora to scrapbook all weekend. So she will be taking the computer with her. So unless I get to the library I won't be able to blog for a couple days.

The HR lady from Federated called me today and said they'll be doing interviews till the end of next week, so it'll be a little while longer. So we'll see.

virus

We found out our computer had a virus over the weekend. Stephanie had a gift card for the OfficeMax computer problem center so we used that. I didn't really know how it would work so it was kinda weird. I've never heard of anyone remotely accessing your computer. So I was sitting here watching the computer and he was making the mouse move and working on our computer. Kinda weird. They were working on the computer from 4:30pm on Saturday till 1:30am! But it's fixed now.

perfect

My teeth are still good. No cavities. Also, you can extend our "No Dishes Broke Since We've Been Married" record by 1 day.

dentist

Tomorrow morning I go to the dentist. I'm 26 and have yet to get a cavity. Hopefully it will stay the way. That's another record I have yet to break. Along with our "No Dishes Broke Since We've Been Married" record. Almost 6 years. By the way, I broke another piece of glass on Tuesday. This is the first piece I've broke since the last time I reported it. And no, I was not working with Abdul from Somalia. He doesn't work on our shift anymore.

review

Well, I've watched the first 2 episodes of American Idol. So far......no one good. I don't have my pick yet. There's always one that I pick that I want to win. None of them have actually won yet. But it's fun to pick anyway. As always there are terrible singers. One of the worst and maybe the funniest audition yet was the first night. Here's a video of it from YouTube.

In other news, Nothing can escape the gravity of a black hole, except for Chuck Norris. Chuck Norris eats black holes. They taste like chicken.

interview

I had an interview today for Federated Insurance. I think it went pretty well. I'm not going to hear back for a week or so. I was hoping I'd hear back right away so if I got it then I could put my 2 weeks notice in and then I wouldn't have to work Super Bowl Sunday. But it looks like I'll have to work that Sunday.

idol

Good news friends. Everyone's favorite show starts on Tuesday. American Idol. Hopefully there will be better contestants than last year. And maybe I'll be famous again. Last year, contestant Chris Sligh, who finished in sixth or something, used to be my brother-in-law Tim's roommate at Pensacola. We're so famous.

Speaking of famous. Jeremy Arends called me last Thursday to let me know he got Chuck Norris' autograph. Jeremy was at the rally for Mike Huckabee in Des Moines when he won and Chuck was there. Forget Mike's autograph. I'd rather have Walker's. That's amazing.

update

I feel like I've have neglected my precious little blog the last couple of weeks. With Christmas, New Years and me being sick I just didn't get around to blogging. Well, here's what you missed:

Stephanie got an Ipod Touch for Christmas. I was going to have her blog from it cause it has internet, but for some reason we can't get it to type on the blog.

We got a bunch of TV Seasons on DVD over Christmas. Seinfeld Season 9, The Office Season 3, and the King of Queens Season's 5,7 and 8. Season 5 we actually ordered on Target.com for Stephanie's sister, Jamie, for Christmas. I took forever to come though so I emailed them about it. They said it was lost in the mail so they sent out another one. Well, the one that was lost came the next day, then the other one came a few days later. So we kept one.

I got a few cds. Steve Green's new cd, Always-Songs of Worship; Point of Grace, How You Live; and Kevin Max, The Blood. All of them are very good.

We got a new game, Blokus. Very fun! Jamie and Adam brought it at Christmas so we ended up buying it at Target. It's easy, yet challenging.

We also got a 9 foot Christmas Tree at Target. It was on clearance after Christmas for $87! It even has lights on it. Although we didn't get to see what it looked like outside of the box. We'll see next Christmas I guess. We had Nicole and her 3 kids with us when we got it so the box wouldn't fit in back. We had to cut open the box and throw everything in back. And we made all 4 of them sit in the middle seats.

I'm waiting to hear back from Federated Insurance in Owatonna about a possible job position. I would be M-F 7am-3:30pm, so we'll see. They're supposed to call back next week.

Tonight we're going to my niece, Alexis' birthday party.

I think I'm pretty much caught up now.

Have a good day,
TJ

Today's Chuck Norris fact: Chuck Norris doesn't read books. He stares them down until he gets the information he wants.

complete

My collection is now complete. I have all the seasons of Little House On The Prairie on DVD. I have seasons 1-9 and the last one is 3, 2-hour "Little House" movies and some interviews with some of the cast. Try not to be jealous.

In other news...Hillary Clinton is raising money from the very industries she is bashing in her stump speeches, taking $269,436 from the pharmaceutical industry and $220,550 from the oil and gas industry. So far no donations from the pantsuit industry.

happy new year

I'm back. Hope you had a good Christmas and New Years. Last Saturday we had Stephanie's family over at our house for Christmas. It was fun. On New Year's Eve Will and Melissa came up and spent the night. We had a lot of fun and played a lot of games.

It's -8 degrees right now.
